The price of a Sambalpuri saree ranges from Rs 4 thousand to Rs 10 thousand. In this, weavers get wages ranging from Rs 1500 to Rs 3000 per saree.

How is Sambalpuri saree prepared?
Ramesh Kumar Dewangan further told that it takes only two-three days to make a Sambalpuri saree. That means weavers are earning three thousand rupees in two days. This Sambalpuri saree is mostly in demand in other cities of Odisha like Bhuneshwar, Cuttack, Bargarh. Apart from this, there is good demand for Sambalpuri sarees in the capital of Chhattisgarh also. Weavers are preparing uniforms, bedsheets, sarees and other clothes for the schemes of Chhattisgarh government.
