The revenge of ‘Queen of Mountains’! New arrangements for tourists in Mussoorie, this time ..

Dehradun: Summer has started, and in such a situation, millions of people from states like Delhi, NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra turn to ‘Queen of Mountains’ Mussoorie every year. The district administration has started preparations for the tourists do not have any kind of trouble this time and they can get all the necessary facilities. District Magistrate Savin Bansal held a meeting with departmental officials regarding the summer tourism system. During this time, he reviewed the existing arrangements and directed that all the necessary arrangements for the convenience and safety of the tourists should be completed in time.

Here will be preparations
This time too, a shuttle service will be operated in the summer season like winter tourism. The DM has given its instructions to the concerned authorities. Facility counters will be installed at major sites like Gaji Band and King Crag. Also, once again golf carts will be seen under the arranged shuttle service in Mussoorie. The district administration has geared up to get tourists from high -tech rides, parking facilities and jams. Digital receipt facility will also be available on Mall Road. The DM has also given instructions to remove encroachments from the roads and to install signsboards, marking and indicators on the Gaji band and King Craig Satellite parking.
For the convenience of tourists, arrangements like inquiry counters, waiting rooms, rest rooms and food outlets will be made at major stops. The Mussoorie municipality has got 14 new golf carts, which has reduced the traffic jam on Mall Road to a great extent.

Helpdesk will be built on Library Chowk and Picture Palace
The District Magistrate has ordered that arrangements for the vehicles to be parked for the operation of the shuttle service and the shuttle helpdesk should be established at Library Chowk and Picture Palace. The Mussoorie Nagar Palika Parishad, Police and Transport Departments together will mark the authorized parking operator and the appropriate place for extended vehicle parking.
The police department has been directed to provide permits to vehicles according to the parking available in hotels in Mussoorie, and necessary guidelines should be issued to the authorized taxi drivers.

The movement of vehicles will be fixed
Marking will be done at the parking sites identified on the elephant foot band, while shuttle parking signboards and indicators will be installed on the entire route from Mussoorie diversion to King Craig Parking.
The facility of contract agreement and token system will also be applicable with the authorized shuttle service operator. Apart from this, the movement of vehicles on Mall Road will be fixed and roads will also be repaired.
