Manish Malhotra shared beautiful pictures of Rekha wearing a traditional Kanjeevaram silk saree and stunning gold jewelery from his collection.
Saree and Rekha are synonymous. Whenever the veteran actress steps out to attend an event or a Bollywood party, she is always seen in beautiful nine-yard outfits. On Thursday, Manish Malhotra posted pictures of Rekha posing for the camera in one of his creations. She was looking perfect.

Manish shared pictures of the 70-year-old actor wearing a ‘traditional silk woven Kanjeevaram saree’ and jewelery from her personal collection. “The simply amazing and iconic Rekha ji. A part of the designer’s caption reads, “Always classic and wears her own style that reflects her personality charmingly.” She added that Rekha styled the drape with a Maharani red silk blouse and a timeless Potli bag hand-embroidered with gold zardosi and Badla from her label.

The woven silk Kanjeevaram saree comes in beautiful shiny gold and red colours, adorned with intricate golden embroidery. The star draped the nine yards in traditional style, with the pleats at the front neatly folded and the pallu falling gracefully from the shoulders. She wore a red silk blouse with her saree. It features a round neckline and full length sleeves with gold cuffs.
The jewelery she chose from her personal collection to style the nine yards included maang tikkas, layered necklaces, bracelets, rings, jhumkis and matilu (ear chains). She tied her hair in a centre-parted bun and decorated it with gajras and red roses. Finally, shimmery eye shadow, smoky wing eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, dark brows, red lips, glowing base and rouge-tinted cheekbones.
