The schedule for all major entrance examinations in Telangana for the academic year 2026-27 has been officially finalized. The State Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced the dates for TG Common Entrance Test – 2026 (TG CET-2026) for admission to engineering, medical, pharmacy, management, law, education and PG professional courses. This schedule allows students to prepare for the exam in advance and plan their studies effectively. TGCHE has clarified that all the examinations will be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT).
TG EAPCET Schedule
TG EAPCET exam will be conducted from 4th to 11th May. There are two main sections: agriculture and pharmacy entrance exams on May 4 and 5, and engineering entrance exams on May 9 to 11. This allows students to take the exam as per their course category.
TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance examination for admission to various professional courses in Telangana. It is conducted once a year for programs like BE, B.Tech, BPharm, PharmD, B.Sc, B.F.Sc and B.V.Sc in universities and private colleges across the state.
Admissions are based on TS EAMCET score and rank, seat allotment is done through online counseling process. To qualify for the rank list, candidates must obtain at least 25% of the total marks, except for SC/ST candidates who have no minimum qualifying marks.
TG ICET and other entrance exams
The TG EDCET (Education SET) exam will be held on May 12, followed by the TG ICET (Management) exam on May 13 and 14. TG ECET (Engineering Course Extension) exam will be held on 15th May. Similarly, TG LAWCET (Law Course) and PGLCET (PG Law) exams will be conducted on May 18.
TG PGECET and PECET
TG PGECET (PG Engineering/Technical courses) examinations will be held from May 28 to 31. Similarly, TG PECET (Bachelor Program Education) examinations will be conducted from May 31 to June 3. With this, students will be able to know all the exam dates in advance and will be able to complete their preparation on time.
