Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai has revised the dates for the second phase of Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling. As per the updated schedule, Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 counseling registration period will close tomorrow, December 17. Candidates who still have not registered can apply through the official website tnmedicalselection.net.
Earlier, December 16, was the last date for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 counselling. From tomorrow, 17th December, applicants qualified in the merit list can start the choice filling process. Options must be completed and locked by 10:00 am on December 18, 2024. As per the official announcement, their choices will be automatically locked if the applicants do not manually lock them by this deadline.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 Counselling: How to Register?
Step 1: Visit the official website tnmedicalselection.net.
Step 2: Select the registration link for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2.
Step 3: Finish the registration process and log in.
Step 4: Complete the Application.
Step 5: Pay the money and upload the required documents.
Step 6: After submission, print the form.
Step 7: Store it safely for later use.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 seat distribution and reporting dates will not change. On December 19, Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 seat allotment results will be made public. The seat allotment letter is available to be downloaded by the candidates till 28th December. Shortlisted candidates have time till December 2 to report.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Choice Filling: Application Fee
According to the official announcement, applicants will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 to participate in the online choice-filling process for Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses under the government quota. Candidates will be required to deposit a refundable security deposit for Government Quota during the registration process, unless they have done so earlier. For government medical colleges and institutions this amount is Rs 30,000.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024: Seat allotment rules
If a candidate who was allotted a seat in Round 1 decides to get re-allocated in Round 2, his/her Round 1 seat will appear as a virtual vacancy in Round 2. During round two, other applicants can lock their selection for this virtual position. The virtual vacancy will become a real vacancy open to all on the basis of merit as the seat will be offered only if the first round contenders resign.
