The India Today Mood of the Nation Poll on February 8 revealed that if the Lok Sabha elections 2024 were held today, the India Bloc, an alliance of 27 opposition parties, may face defeat. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to win 335 seats, short of its “400-cross” target.
According to India Today’s Mood of the Nation poll, the figures are as follows:
According to the survey, India Bloc is likely to get 38.3 percent votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress alone may win 19 per cent vote share, while BJP is likely to get 39.6 per cent of the total vote share.
1. India vs NDA:
NDA: 335 seats
India: 166 seats
Other: 42 seats
2. Congress vs BJP:
BJP: 304 seats
Congress: 71 seats
Other: 168 seats

Key findings from the survey:
1. Congress can emerge as the second largest party with 71 seats, 19 seats more than last time.
2. Of the four regions, the states of South India are likely to vote for the opposition Bharat faction.
3. Apart from the North Indian states, the Indian faction is also likely to get a big lead in Punjab.
4. In Goa, Congress may get a slight advantage with 47 percent vote share, while BJP may get 37 percent vote share. Goa is a BJP ruled state.
5. India Block has no advantage in Jharkhand and Delhi.
