Vibhuti Pandey of Lathar district in Jharkhand has secured 99 rank in JPSC. Additionally, he has approved UPSC Prelims and is currently preparing for the main examination. He does not have achievements. In January 2025, he achieved All India Rank 3 in the UGC NET, which holds his success primarily for self-study.
Vibhuti Pandey, son of Jitendra Pandey of Rocky Kala Village on the Palmu-Later border, secured 99th rank in 11th to 13th JPSC. His mother, Sharda Devi, is a housewife, and her sister, Priya Kumari, is a student. Vibuti has been selected without relying on special tuition or coaching for Jharkhand Administrative Service, through hardworking self-study.
In an interview with Local18, Vibhuti shared that self-study has been his most effective tool for success, which dedicates 10 to 12 hours daily for his studies at home. His dream is to become an IAS officer, a goal he has since graduated. He first appeared for the UPSC exam in 2023, cleaning the former but not the main. He has also approved the prelims examination this year, and is hopeful of success in the upcoming main examination for the next month.
The 24-year-old person believes that every examination can be cleaned through self-study. His first attempt in JPSC benefited from his UPSC preparation, especially in North Writing, which played an important role in his success. In January 2025, he continued his post-graduate study in IGNOU and achieved an all-India rank of 3 in the UGC NET exam.
He credits his success to his family’s unwavering support, spends 10 to 12 hours daily on self-study and asks for help from YouTube for doubt, although he did not subscribe to any specific channel. For the Jharkhand exam, he used Manish Ranjan’s book for preparation.
Vibhuti completed his basic education in Palamu, participating in MK Dave Public School till matriculation before graduating from Delhi University. He is currently following a master in political science from Ignnau.
