The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently revised its exam calendar for the year 2024. The revised schedule, which is now available on the official website ssc.gov.in, reflects changes in the exam dates of Selection Post Examination (Phase XII) and Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024.
A notice issued by the Commission said, “Revised schedule of both the upcoming examinations, making partial modification in the Commission’s important notice dated 08.04.2024 uploaded on the Commission’s website.”
New Schedule of SSC Selection Post (Phase XII) & CHSL Tier 1 Exam:
Selection Post Examination, Phase XII – June 20, 21, 24, 25 and 26.
Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, Tier-I – July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
SSC Selection Post and CHSL Exam 2024 Dates: Steps to Check
Step 1- Visit the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in
Step 2- On the homepage, find the section named “Important Information: Schedule of Examinations” and click on it.
Step 3- Once you click on it, the revised notice with the updated schedule will appear on your screen.
The notice also mentions that there is no change in the schedule for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024 (Paper-I). These exams will be held from June 27 to 29 as per the earlier schedule. Further, it mentions that candidates should follow the schedule and check the commission’s website regularly for any changes.
To be eligible for the SSC recruitment exams, candidates must have a class 10 passing certificate or a graduation degree from a reputed university. Additionally, all candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Along with the revised dates of the exams, the commission is expected to release the hall tickets soon. SSC admit cards will be available on ssc.gov.in before the exam. The admit card of the candidates will contain the date of their exam, as well as the timing of the paper, exam center information and other important instructions.
Around 3,712 posts will be filled in this year’s SSC CHSL exam. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will have 100 questions, each carrying two marks. An additional 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates will get up to one hour to complete the exam.
