Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who tied the knot last month, recently enjoyed a fun movie night as they decided to watch the American superhero film Deadpool and Wolverine. On Friday, Zaheer, who is best known for his role in The Notebook, shared a picture of his wife Sonakshi on his Instagram Stories, capturing her million-dollar smile inside a movie hall. In the picture, the Dabangg actor can be seen wearing a black sweatshirt with matching pants, along with a pair of stylish glasses. She is seen striking a playful pose while sitting on her seat, while Zaheer is happily playing the role of the photographer.
Recently, the newlywed couple celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary in the Philippines. On Tuesday, the Double XL actor took to Instagram and posted adorable photos from their honeymoon in the Philippines.
Along with this post, Sonakshi also wrote a long note in which she expressed gratitude for learning about health for herself and experiencing the changes in life after leading a regular life.
She wrote, “We celebrated our first month of marriage by doing what we needed to do most – recovering!!! This isn’t an ad, and no one asked us to post, but I couldn’t stop myself from sharing the amazing things we did at @thefarmatsanbenito in the Philippines. One week taught us what health really means, listening to our bodies and taking care of our minds. Waking up in nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and lots of massages – feeling brand new.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 at their home in Mumbai in the presence of their loved ones. It was a private wedding. The civil wedding was followed by a wedding ceremony at Bastian, which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities.
The reception was attended by several Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur and veteran actress Saira Banu, who came to congratulate the couple and celebrate their union. Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before formalising their relationship.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonakshi’s horror-comedy film Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, released on ZEE5 on July 12. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
