According to the senior security officer of IGI Airport, this incident happened around 7:30 in the late evening of May 15. The Air India flight to Vadodara was almost ready to take off. Meanwhile, a tissue paper was found in the toilet of the aircraft, on which bomb was written. The captain of the aircraft was immediately informed about this paper. The Captain immediately sent information in this regard to all the concerned agencies through ATC.
This thing came to light during investigation
He said that following the standard security protocol, the flight of this flight was temporarily postponed and sent to the isolated area. Where the CISF and Delhi Police team started re-investigating the plane. Everything was found fine during the security check. After which, this aircraft was allowed to fly to Vadodara airport. At the Vadodara airport too, due to the news of a bomb in the plane, everyone’s breath got stuck in their throats.
Threat calls are coming continuously at the airport
It is noteworthy that for the last few days, threat calls have been coming continuously regarding the security of the airport. Last three days also, a bomb threat was received at Delhi Airport, which was declared hoax after investigation. According to a senior CISF official, no call related to security can be ignored. There is a standard procedure for such a situation, which is followed in letter and spirit.
