New Delhi. After Google’s recent action of delisting some apps, Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com, has strongly criticized the tech giant firm. He called it a ‘black day’ for the internet landscape in India. Mittal has written his views on social media platform X (earlier Twitter). He has written in his post that this ‘Lagaan’ should be stopped.
Anupam Mittal has written, ‘Today is a dark day for India’s internet. Google has removed major apps from its app store, even as legal hearings are ongoing at @CCI_India and @indSupremeCourt. His false narratives and audacity show that he has little respect for India. Make no mistake – this is the new Digital East India Company and this levy must be stopped.
