Former actress Sana Khan and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza have embarked on a pilgrimage to Mecca for Hajj with their families. Sana, Sania on trip to Mecca
Sana went on the spiritual journey with her son Syed Tariq Jameel, while Sania was accompanied by her sister Anam and father Imran. Overwhelmed with the experience, Anam shared a heartwarming photo of the sisters with their father on Instagram, captioned with a red heart emoji.
An influencer named Sahar Afsha also shared a video of her enlightening experience during Hajj with Sana, Sania and Anam. Photos of the trio have also surfaced online.
Before leaving for the trip, Sania shared an emotional note on Instagram, ending which she wrote, “I hope I return a better person with a humble heart and strong conscience.”
Let us tell you that Sana had distanced herself from acting in 2020 and said that she wanted to ‘serve humanity’. A month after making the announcement, she married Maulvi Mufti Anas Saeed.
Sania’s marriage rumours
While she was busy with Hajj, Sania was once again in the news as speculations were rife that she would soon marry Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami. However, Imran, while speaking to NDTV, said, “It’s all rubbish. She hasn’t even met him.”
A morphed photo from Sania and Shami’s wedding fueled these rumours. But this photo is from Sania and her ex-husband Shoaib Malik’s wedding, in which Shoaib Malik’s face has been superimposed on Shami’s face.
Sania and Shoaib got married in 2010 and have a son named Izhaan. In January this year, Sania announced their separation after Shoaib married actress Sana Javed.
