Sameer Soni recently talked about Neelam Kothari’s apprehensions about Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. This series is available for streaming on Netflix.
Neelam Kothari is once again seen in the third installment of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The new season titled Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives sees her pitted against her new friends from Delhi. However, before the show, Neelam was scared of being a part of a reality series. In an interview with ZeePlus, actor’s husband Sameer Soni said that she was initially scared of being a part of the show. Talking about the time when the offer for the Netflix series came to Neelam, Sameer said, “When he told me that Dharmatics, Karan and everyone had approached these four girls for the show, I told him Told…she was humming and shouting. She was very worried about what people would say if she returned now. Because, obviously, you’re 20 years old and your last image is the same… so (she felt) people would say she’s not the same, she was very scared.
He further added, “People have a very short memory…I said it is a reality show; They will tear you apart, rest assured. This is their job. The people watching are looking for something to entertain themselves. “To be honest, I wondered who would watch it because I don’t watch reality TV myself… I was taking it very lightly, the first season. After this people started asking me ‘How are you ma’am?’ This was after just one season. I was like ‘wow’. After the second season, it became even bigger as it became one of the top ten international shows on Netflix.
Neelam Kothari-Sameer Soni’s relationship
Neelam married Sameer in 2011. The couple later adopted a daughter in 2013 and named her Ahana. Her first marriage was in 2000 to Rishi Setha, son of a UK businessman. However, they soon got divorced. Sameer was earlier also in a relationship with Nafisa Joseph and he also got engaged to her. The couple broke up after two years of engagement.
