In this Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan gave a gentle but firm warning to Amaal Malik about controlling her aggression and her tongue after her heated argument with Farhana Bhatt. Salman also called Amaal’s father Dabboo Malik on stage to give his parents’ perspective. He then went on to explain how he has been blamed for things he never did, yet continues to handle them with patience.
Salman tells Amaal that calling Farhana’s mother “B-grade” and snatching Farhana’s plate while eating was wrong. Later, he invited Daboo Malik on stage, who gently scolded his son for his comments and behaviour.
Salman Khan says it’s a vicious world
As both Amaal and Dabboo became emotional, Salman said, “I keep guiding him every week, but he has no control over his mind or his tongue. He says whatever he wants. You are not a child anymore, Amaal. Even if you repent and apologize later, this is something you need to control.” Sushmita Sen once said something beautiful: People will remember your reaction and evaluate your reaction. Will do, and it will last a lifetime. I know this because even today, I’m paying for things I imagined. 30-40 years ago. Do you think you can handle it? It’s a very wicked world, Amal.”
The superstar further added, “I have been blamed for things I haven’t done, and I’m bearing it till today. Do you have the mental strength to face what people say about you? When you donate or show respect, people think it’s pretentious. These are small lessons that are being imparted to you. What Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) and I have gone through – how do you handle that? The whole world is against you.” Maybe, and you should keep your head down, keep listening, and get on with the day. Get through the day like a warrior.”
While leaving the stage, Dabboo Malik told Amaal, “Fight, my respect is in your hands, Amaal.” On this, Salman quipped, “If her respect is in your hands, then she is gone.” He added, “My father would have told me the same; in fact, he once said, ‘If our honor and respect is in your hands, it is gone.'”
