It is reaching close to ‘Ek Villain’ (2014), which earned Rs 16 crore on its opening day. If the final figures cross that limit, ‘Saira’ will become Mohit Suri’s biggest opener.
The film recorded a total occupancy of 41.07% at the 3,523 shows across the country, including 649 shows in Mumbai and 804 shows in Delhi-NCR. Built by Yash Raj Films, ‘Saira’ has become a topic of discussion not only for his earnings, but also for his unique way of promotion.
