RPSC Exam Calendar 2026 Out: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the exam calendar for 2026. The Commission has not only announced the exam dates in advance but has also decided to resume online computer-based examinations. This list released by the RPSC office in Ajmer contains the details of the dates of 18 major recruitments from Deputy Commandant to Master (Lecturer) and Station Officer (Sub-Inspector). The Chairman of the Commission has clearly said that the purpose of releasing the examination calendar early is to give adequate time for preparation. The first examination of the year will be held in January, which will continue till the last week of December.

After a gap of about six years, RPSC has once again adopted technology. To reduce the complaints of paper leaks and rigging in recruitment examinations, the Commission is now shifting to online mode. This will ensure transparency in the examination.
The first examination for the post of Deputy Commandant in the Home Department will be held on 11 January 2026. The next day on January 12, there will be an examination for the post of lecturer in the Ayurveda department. Screening tests for several other departments are also scheduled by the end of January.
Lecturer (Ayurveda Department): January 12, 2026 (It will be completely online).
Assistant Electrical Inspector: February 1, 2026 (This will also be conducted on computer).
Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander (Home Department): This exam is scheduled to be held on April 5, 2026.
Senior Teacher (Senior Teacher Grade II): This examination for the Secondary Education Department will be conducted continuously from 12 to 18 July 2026.
School Lecturers and Instructors: Examinations for various subjects for the School Education Department will be conducted between 31 May to 16 June 2026.
For the first time, RPSC has scheduled a large number of reserved dates. April 26, May 3, November 29, December 6 and December 27 have been kept vacant in the calendar. There are two main reasons behind this: First, if the government announces new major recruitment (like RAS or REET), the exam dates will be available. Second, if the exam has to be postponed due to internet outage or other emergency in a particular district, students will not have to wait for years, and the exam can be re-conducted on these reserved dates.
RPSC Chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahu has clarified that now a gap of at least two to three months has been established between each examination. Candidates preparing for many recruitment examinations will get a chance to do revision. Additionally, ‘One-Time Registration’ (OTR) has now been made mandatory, eliminating the hassle of filling forms repeatedly and preserving data with the Commission.
