2. If you live in a flat or small house, then incense sticks made from flowers are the best option. It neither takes up space nor has any bad smell.

How to make incense sticks from flowers
1. Dry the flowers: Dry the puja flowers in the shade for two-three days. Like rose, marigold or basil leaves – they dry quickly.
2. Mix camphor: Mix camphor in dried flowers and grind it. Camphor will also increase the fragrance and it will help in burning the incense sticks.
3. Add ghee or honey: Add some pure ghee or honey to it. This will bind the mixture and it will be easier to shape the incense stick.
4. Mix dry cow’s bones: Nowadays small ball like bones are available in the market. Grind them and mix them with flower powder. This will make the mixture stronger and will give smoke for a longer time when burnt.
5. Add some water or oil: so that the mixture can bind. Then make it in the shape of small rolls or cones.
6. Dry: Let the made pieces dry for 2-3 days until they become completely hard.
