Historian Chandrashekhar Sharma said that Maharana Pratap had adopted many strategies to defeat the Mughals. One of these strategies was that he used to make his horse Chetak wear an elephant mask. So that the enemy would think that he was coming to fight the war with an elephant. Due to this strategy, the Mughal army was already scared and Maharana Pratap was helped to win the war.
This special mask is still kept in the museum
This mask of Chetak horse can still be seen in the City Palace Museum of Udaipur city. Along with this, the weapons used by Maharana Pratap in the war are also kept here. Maharana Pratap always kept two swords with him. The reason behind this is also said to be that he would definitely give his enemy a chance to fight in the end. Along with this, he always kept a spear and bow and arrow with him.
