Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is holding a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 pm on Monday, the official residence of the Prime Minister with the Lok Kalyan Marg.
The meeting took place a day later when the defense staff Anil Chauhan informed the Defense Minister on the important decisions made for Pakistan after the deadly Pahgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Today’s meeting also comes even three days after the all-party meeting held in the Parliament complex on the Pahgam terror attack, which was chaired by the Defense Minister.
As the tension between the two countries increased, it is discovered that Chief Employees General Anil Chauhan called Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
The 26/11 was the worst terrorist attack on citizens in India since the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the “criminals and conspirators” of the Pahalgam attack would be served “with harsh response”.
In the address of his ‘Maan Ki Butt’, Modi said, “The whole world stands with 140 crore Indians in our fight against terrorism. I once again assure the affected families that they will get justice, and justice will be done.”
“The criminals and conspirators of this attack will be served with harsh response,” he said.
India on Wednesday announced a series of punitive functions against Pakistan, including suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, closure of the only operating land border crossing in Attari, and downgrading of diplomatic relations after cross -border links for the recent attack.
In vengeance, Pakistan on Thursday shut down its airspace for Indian airlines and suspended all trade with India including the third countries. Pakistan also rejected the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty of India, warning that any attempt to stop the flow of water would be considered as “war work”.
The whole world is with 140 crore Indians in our fight against terrorism.
