RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2025: the Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the deadline to apply for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for Undergraduate (UG) candidates.
RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2025: What are the vacancies available?
RRB has announced a total of 3,058 vacancies are to be filled, of which 1,280 roles are for unreserved category (UR), 461 are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 264 are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 773 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 280 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

Railway Recruitment: Who are eligible?
graduates who have completed class 12 With at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2025. However, once the application is completed, one has to qualify the selection process and examination to qualify for the jobs.
What is the recruitment process?
The selection process involves two computer based testing (CBT), followed by Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST), Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- CBT 1 will be conducted for 90 minutes (120 minutes for scribe candidates) and will consist of 100 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Mathematics. Each question is of 1 mark.
- CBT 2 will be conducted for 90 minutes (120 minutes for scribe candidates) and will consist of 120 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Mathematics. Here each question is also of 1 mark.
- Once candidate After passing both CBT 1 and 2, those applying for Accounts cum Clerk Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist roles will also be required to qualify a typing skill test demonstrating a typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
- After completion of the test, Document Verification (DV) of the candidates will be conducted.
Shortlisting will be based on combined score of CBT, CBTST performance and DV stage. The qualifying marks for each category are as follows: 40% for OBC candidates, 30% for SC candidates and 25% for ST candidates.
