WhatsApp is testing Meta AI tools inside the Status editor in iOS and Android beta. Know new AI styles, photo editing features and rollout details…
Editing tool is coming on WhatsApp.WhatsApp is testing a new and very useful feature for its users. Now there will be no need for any separate app to edit photos while creating status. WhatsApp is adding Meta AI based photo editing tools within its Status Editor. Testing of this feature first started in Android beta and now it is visible to iOS beta (TestFlight) users also.
Some iPhone users are seeing a new editing screen while creating a status. Along with the pre-existing filters, AI tools are also provided in it. With the help of these tools, users can edit their photos directly inside WhatsApp, that too without going to any third-party app.
Not just one or two, you will get many styles
Through Meta AI, WhatsApp is testing many new AI styles, such as Anime, Comic Book, Clay, Painting, 3D, Kawaii and Video Game. The special thing is that these are not just stickers or filters, but AI recreates your photo in a completely new style. If you don’t like the result, you can generate a new image in the same style by pressing the Redo button.
Not only this, Meta AI also lets you remove unwanted objects from photos, add new objects, change the scene and even turn static photos into short animated clips. During this time, AI keeps the background natural, due to which the photo does not look edited but professional.
Currently this feature is available only for selected beta users. Some regular App Store users may also see this, but not everyone will get this update at the same time. WhatsApp is rolling it out phase wise in different regions and user groups. Overall, this feature is going to turn WhatsApp Status into a mini creative studio.
