Johannesburg: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Johannesburg to attend the G20 summit. Before this summit to be held in South Africa, PM Modi has received a warm welcome. He met the Indian immigrants, where Indian dance, Ganpati prayer and Girmitiya song were sung to welcome him. After this, he met Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese on the sidelines of G20 and shared the conversation with him on social media.
PM Modi wrote in the post, ‘I had an excellent conversation with Australian Prime Minister Albanese. This year, the strategic partnership between our nations has completed 5 years and in this time, transformative results have been seen. Because of which the cooperation between us has deepened. During our talks today, emphasis was laid on key areas where there is immense potential for further growth of relations. Along with this, PM Modi has also shared a picture of the meeting with Albanese.
Had a very good meeting with Australian PM Albanese. This year, the strategic partnership between our countries completes 5 years and these years have witnessed transformative results, which have further deepened our cooperation.
The PM further wrote that ‘During our conversation today, emphasis was laid on 3 key areas where there is immense potential for further growth of relations: defense and security, nuclear energy and trade. Other areas discussed included education, cultural exchange and many other topics.
