It contains elements like calcium, phosphorus, potassium and iron, which are very important for proper development of the body. This is the reason that many people of Baghelkhand have now started planting it in their home and garden and also use its medicinal properties.
Chandan said that most of the Phalsa is grown with grafting technology. The special thing is that the plant is ready in two years and by the age of five, at least 3 to 4 kg of fruits start getting from every tree. Due to good yields in low time and low cost, the trend of farmers is also increasing rapidly towards Phalsa cultivation.
International demand demand
Although its origin is believed to be from South Africa, Phalsa is being cultivated on a large scale in countries like India, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia today. In the international market, its demand is continuously increasing, due to which farmers can also get export opportunities.
In the cultivation of Phalsa, water and fertilizer are very less and after applying it, it keeps giving fruits for a long time. This is the reason that in the entire state including Satna, now the garden of Phalsa has started to decorate. Farmers believe that this fruit can make them rich in both farming and business in future.
