Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced 1543 job vacancies for the posts of Field Engineer and Supervisor. Interested candidates can start from today, through the official website on Powergrid.in on 27 August, September 27, 2025.
BE/BTech and BSC can apply for graduates with engineering degrees, especially for citizens, electrical, or electronics and communication branches. Candidates will be selected through a general FTE written test. The official notice states that the written examination for all provisionally eligible candidates will be conducted for all posts on the basis of Pan India.

PGCIL Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
field Engineer: Candidates should complete BE/BTech/BSC engineering with at least 55% marks in the relevant engineering branch, with one year experience.
field supervisor: Candidates will have to conduct full -time diploma in the relevant branch of engineering with at least 55% marks.
Age limit: The maximum age limit for these posts is 29 years, which has been counted till 17 September. Age rest is available for reserved category candidates.

PGCIL Field Engineer/Field Supervisor Recruitment 2025: Salary Description
field Engineer: The original salary is Rs 30,000 with a pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000, Plus is with Industrial DA, HRA and Perks. The annual salary package is around Rs 8.9 lakh, with allowances at minimum 35% of the basic salary.
field supervisor: The monthly pay scale is Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000, including an initial basic salary of Rs 23,000, industrial DA, HRA and perk. The total annual CTC is around 6.8 lakh rupees, with allowances up to 35% of the original salary, as variable pay based on the performance criteria defined by the management.
