Saint Laurent showcased his Spring Summer 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week, with models wearing masculine suits.
Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello has introduced a variety of masculine suits with raised shoulders and matching ties for the Parisian label’s spring-summer 2025 collection. Even Bella Hadid is back on the runway for this collection, which has become the talk of the town.
YSL showcases its Spring Summer 2025 collection
Models strode steadily down an open-air runway set up in the central courtyard of the Kering-owned fashion house’s Left Bank headquarters. They wore thick, studious glasses or aviator shades.
Bomber jackets lent heft to the silhouette, while heavy jewellery and pointed stilettos added extra charm to the look, which was crafted in keeping with the personal style of the house’s founder, Yves Saint Laurent.
During the show, Vaccarello turned to more feminine, bohemian styles, including flowing skirts in paisley designs and shiny brocade jackets covered in flowers, which were worn with short skirts.
Bella Hadid is back on the runway
Bella Hadid returned to the runway for Anthony Vaccarello’s spring summer show for the Parisian label. The supermodel is making a comeback after a two-year hiatus.
With slicked-back hair and nerdy glasses, and wearing Saint Laurent’s signature double-breasted suit, Bella made her way down the ramp with her powerful walk. According to W Magazine, Bella’s look was a tribute to Monsieur Saint Laurent himself, specifically “his way of dressing, which included fluid suits and jackets over blazers.”
Meanwhile, the late-night show drew a packed audience who applauded the arrival of celebrities including singer Lenny Kravitz, model Kate Moss and actor Gwyneth Paltrow. It was the finale of the second day of Paris Fashion Week, which runs until October 1 and features some of the biggest global fashion labels including Hermes, Chanel, Valentino and LVMH-owned Louis Vuitton.
