Following improvement in air quality over the past three days, offline classes resumed across Delhi on Thursday after the Air Quality Management Commission lifted restrictions in Phase-3 of the Graded Response Action Plan.

The restrictions imposed earlier this month in view of rising pollution levels in the city were lifted on Wednesday. Schools were asked to shift to hybrid mode for classes up to 5th on November 11.
In a circular, the Directorate of Education (DoE) said that the guidelines for hybrid classes issued earlier have now been withdrawn.
It said, “All government, government aided, unaided recognized private schools of DOE, NDMC, MCD and Delhi Cantonment Board are informed that the hybrid mode has been cancelled. All classes will be conducted in physical mode with immediate effect.”
According to the circular, heads of schools have been directed to inform students, staff and parents about the change.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s air quality remained in the “very poor” category with an AQI of 377 at 4 pm on Thursday.
The air quality in the city has remained poor for the last 13 days.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, between 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, between 101 and 200 “moderate”, between 201 and 300 “poor”, between 301 and 400 “very poor”, and between 401 and 500 “severe”.
