Odisha Police SI Exam 2025 postponed: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) announced on Tuesday that the sub-inspector (SI) recruitment examination, which is first scheduled for October 5 and 6, 2025, has been postponed.
Citing the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB), in his statement, citing “unexpected developments” said: “In view of some unexpected development, the board decided to postpone the written test CPSE -2024, which was scheduled to be held at 05.10.2025 and 06.10.2025 earlier.”

The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) said that the new dates for SI Exam 2025 will be “declared later”.
The sudden delay in SI Exam 2025 has left thousands of candidates-under the Joint Police Service Examination (CPSE) 2024, had registered for posts like Sub-Inspector, Station Officer, and others of Police-for the dates of the examination.

To apply for the examination, candidates require a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, and must be 21 years old.
The written examination will be conducted in both Odia and English. This includes a technical paper for some posts such as Paper 1 (Odia and English), Paper 2 (General Studies, Logics, Mathematics), and Station Officer.
