Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) Main Session 2 dates and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 exam dates that were clashing have been rescheduled by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
CBSE released the exam schedule for class 10 and 12 board exams on December 12, 2023, which was later revised. NTA had released the IIT-JEE dates in September last year. While reviewing both the circulars it was found that the dates of the examinations were overlapping.

The first session of JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to be held between January 24 and February 1, before the commencement of CBSE Class 12 exams. CBSE class 12th examinations are scheduled to start from 15th February.

According to the CBSE date sheet, the Class 12 board exams are scheduled to end on April 2, with the final exam being held between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for Informatics Practice, Computer Science and Information Technology subjects. However, the second session of JEE Main 2024 is clashing with these board exams, which is scheduled to be held between April 1 and April 15, as per the NTA circular.
