In a remarkable performance of self -sufficiency and perseverance, 30 -year -old A. Kaiyikho Kayina Mao has successfully passed the Chartered Accountancy (CA) final examination in his second attempt without any coaching classes. This impressive achievement shows their dedication and commitment.
Kaikhao, the youngest son of his family, has now become the third brother in his family to achieve this prestigious qualification. In July 2022, his elder brother, A.
Originally from Song Song Village in Senapati district, Kiyikho currently lives in Mao Tafau. He graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce at Delhi University and later earned a postgraduate degree from Delhi School of Economics.
With unwavering support from his family and community, he prepared for the CA exam on his own. His father, Adahe Mao, who is retired from the Income Tax Department, expressed his emotional pride, blamed his son’s success to divine grace and his family, relatives and church blessings.
Kaiyikho is one of the five brothers, with one elder brother one CA and the other one engineer. They also have two younger sisters who are currently studying. With the success of Kaikho, there are now four chartered accounts in the Senapati district – three from the Mao community and one Paumai Naga tribe – this is an important achievement for the district.
