NEST 2024 Result: National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar declared the results of the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 on Friday, July 12, 2024. Candidates who appeared for NEST 2024 can check their results on the official website nestexam.in.
Candidates should note that they will have to enter their login credentials, such as application number/login ID and password, to view and download their NEST 2024 result. NISER Bhubaneswar has also released the merit list.

It is important to note that the NEST 2024 exam was conducted on June 30 (Sunday) at 129 centres (major towns or cities) across the country in two shifts. The first shift began at 9 am and ended at 12:30 pm, while the second shift began at 2:30 pm and ended at 6 pm. The exam was conducted online in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, with candidates having the option to take it in English or Hindi.
NEST 2024 had 60 questions each in four sections including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. As per the notification, the best three scores out of the four sections were considered while preparing the merit list. In other words, the worst score out of the four sections was not considered for calculating the merit list.
