NEET exam 2025: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Bachelor of Graduates (NEET UG) 2025 on 4 May. Candidates can visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in to download their hall tickets.
After issuing the examination City Intemission Slip and NEET UG 2025 Admit Card, the NTA has issued instructions that candidates have to follow the exam day. They need to conform to individual documents, dress codes and guidelines about prohibited items, which are to clarify any final-minute problems in the examination center.
NEET UG 2025: What important documents do you need to carry?
- A printed copy of the admit card should be moved, in which the passport-shaped picture is affixed to it that matches the one uploaded during the application process.
2. A passport-shaped photo, which should be the same as one uploaded in the application form. It is to be fixed on the presence sheet at the examination center.
3. You should take an original and valid photo identity document whether it is with a PAN card, voter ID or driving license, Aadhaar card, passport, ration card, or a photo with class 12 admit card.
4. If applicable, candidates should not forget the PWBD certificate. Those who claim rest under the benchmark disabled (PWBD) category should have a competent authority issued certificate.
According to the NTA, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination without documents like Aadhaar card, valid photo ID.
NEET UG 2025: What is the dress code for the exam?
NTA has set a strict dress code to keep the exam integrity and pave the way for smooth safety checks:
- Candidates should wear light colored, casual clothes with half sleeves. Heavy people and long sleeves are not strictly allowed.
- They should wear either slippers or sandals, with low heels
3. Candidates who wear customary or religious dress will have to reach the examination center at least one hour before the final reporting time IE by 12:30 pm to allow adequate time for inspection and fringing.
4. Women candidates are recommended not to wear brooch, flowers, jeans or badges. Jewelry like earrings, pendants, nasal rings, and other decorative items should not be worn while going for examination.
List of items that you cannot take inside the exam hall
- Any printed or written notes, pieces of paper, or any form of study material.
2. Geometry box, pencil box, plastic pouch, pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, log table, calculator, electronic pen, or scanner.
3. Mobile phones, earphones, microphones and Bluetooth devices, pager, health band, camera, or any electronic or communication equipment
4. Watches, bracelets, including any metal products are not allowed.
5. Any pack or opened foods.
6. Any other items can be used for dishonest practices, such as microchip or hidden communication devices, resulting in disqualification and cancellation of your candidature.
In addition, according to the NTA rules, no candidate is allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the test without submitting the Infigilater on the OMR sheet. Strict action will be taken against public examinations (prevention of inappropriate means) Act, 2024, unfair means or any use of misconduct.
In particular, alternative questions have not been included this time, and the duration is reduced by 20 minutes.
