NEET UG Counselling 2024: The counselling process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 will begin from August 14, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) said on Monday.
However, the registration process for counselling is likely to begin from the first week of August, said Commission Secretary Dr B Srinivas. National Medical Commission(NMC),

The secretary further informed that the NEET UG counselling process will be conducted for “around 1.10 lakh MBBS seats” in 710 medical colleges across the country. Apart from seats for AYUSH and nursing courses, counselling will also be conducted for 21,000 Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seats, Srinivas said.
“MCC Consultation will be held “The scheme is applicable for 15 per cent All India Quota seats and 100 per cent of all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry seats, all Central Universities seats and 100 per cent of Deemed Universities seats,” Dr Srinivas said.
MCC has also advised students to keep checking the website for further updates.
NEET UG Registration 2024: How to Apply for Counselling
NEET aspirants can follow the steps given below to register for the counselling process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: On the UG Counselling page, open the NEET UG Counselling Schedule given under the “E-Services/Schedule” tab.
Step 3: Apply for online counselling.
Step 4: Register to get access to the login details.
Step 5: Fill the application form.
Step 6: Upload the required documents and complete the payment process.
Step 7: Next, click on ‘Submit’ form.
The examination body for NEET, The National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced the results on July 26, Friday medical entrance exam. The move came after the Supreme Court disposed of several petitions claiming that the screening process was mired in irregularities. Over 24 lakh students appeared for the exam this year.
