The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced that NEET UG Counseling 2025 round 2 will start on August 29, 2025. Candidates wishing to participate in the second round of counseling can submit their applications on the official MCC website on mcc.nic.in. The round 2 counseling process started from August 29.
MCC has issued an official notice stating that the full program for round 2 will be released soon. “To include the newly authorized MBBS seats in Round -2 of UG Consultation 2025, the competent authority has decided to start Round -2 of UG Counseling 2025 from August 29, 2025. However, the revised schedule for round -2 will be published soon,” the official notice states.
NEET UG Counseling 2025: How to register for Round 2?
step 1: Visit the official website: mxc.nic.in.
step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical Counseling’ section on the homepage.
step 3: Select the link for NEET UG 2025 registration.
step 4: Fill the required details, create a password, and submit the registration form.
Step 5: Pay the online registration fee and save the confirmation page.
Step 6: Download the filled NEET UG counseling form and take a printout for future use.
NEET UG Counseling 2025: Documents are required
– NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard
– Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
– Birth certificate (if not mentioned in class 10 certificate)
– Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWD/PWD, if applicable)
– Grift Certificate (for State Kota seats)
-The passport-size photograph (uploaded in NEET application)
– migration certificate (if applied)
– Medical Fitness Certificate
MCC manages NEET UG consultation for admission to other related medical courses under MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), and 15 percent of All India Kota (AIQ). These seats are introduced in government medical and dental colleges across India. The remaining 85 percent of the seats are allocated through state-level consultation, which is conducted by the concerned state officials on the basis of the NEET UG score of the candidates.
