NEET PG Counseling 2025: Registration process will start on December 5 at noon, payment option will be available till 3 pm on December 9, 2025.

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has updated the NEET PG 2025 counseling schedule for the second round. As per the revised timetable, Round 2 registration will start from December 5. The updated schedule is available on the official website mcc.nic.in.
The registration process will start on December 5 at 12 noon, payment option will be available till 3 pm on December 9, 2025. Choice filling will start from December 6 and will continue till 11:55 pm on December 9, 2025.
The change comes after MCC increased 239 PG seats for deemed universities and removed 235 PG DNB seats in 186 government and 49 private colleges.
Choice locking is scheduled from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on December 9. The seat allotment will take place between December 10 and 11, with the results to be declared on December 12. As per the revised schedule, the share of candidates appearing will be announced between December 22 and 23.
MCC announced the NEET PG Counseling 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result on November 21. A total of 26,889 candidates, including 466 non-resident Indians (NRIs), were allotted seats in the first round of counselling.
Candidates seeking admission to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS and PG diploma courses in various government and private institutions as well as 100 per cent seats in deemed and central universities will be able to apply on the official website after the link is activated.

step 4: Submit your college of choice and other preferences

MCC conducts four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counseling for NEET PG aspirants. These rounds include Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. The committee manages counseling for 50 per cent of AIQ PG seats in colleges under Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (for children of ESIC insured persons) and all PG seats in Armed Forces Medical Services institutions.
