Since the NEET PG 2025 exam will now be conducted in the same shift, NBE has requested the students to re -present their choice of the examination city.

The National Examination Board (NBE) is ready to conduct the NEET-PG 2025 examination on August 3 after the Supreme Court approval. The official notice stated, “NEET-PG 2025 will be held in a single shift on 03.08.2025, which is according to the approval of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.” The examination was earlier held on June 15 in two shifts.
Since the NEET PG 2025 exam will now be conducted in the same shift, NBE has requested the students to re -present their choice of the examination city. Candidates will be selected by the candidates on the basis of first come first served. The process of choosing cities will open on June 13 and will close on 17 June.
“To accommodate all the candidates in a single shift, NEET-PG will now be held in more cities. This information will be in addition to the cities indicated in the bulletin. Therefore, all the candidates will have to re-submit their choice of examination city. “While submitting the online application form, candidates will be able to see only the cities where test seats are available. The site in the selected examination will be allotted by NBEMS,” the notice said.
The exam will be computer based and will be conducted in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). For this, there are plans to set up more than 1,000 examination centers in 250 cities across the country. Around 60,000 people will be involved in taking the exam, including site-prabhari, system operators, security personnel, lab manager and electrician.
On May 30, a bench, including Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sanjay Kumar, and Justice NK Anjaria, announced that the exam should be conducted in a single shift, seen, “Conducting the exam in two changes may fail to ensure arbitrary and a level game. The body should have been examined to conduct the examination in the same shift this year.”
