The Indian Medical Association-Junier Doctors Network (IMA-JDN) has presented an immediate representation to Union Health Minister JP NADDA, given the serious concerns about the allocation of NEET-PG examination centers. It comes in response to comprehensive complaints from aspirations across the country, which have been assigned testing centers in distant states, increasing the crisis and anxiety between the candidates.
Along with the National Eligibility-cum-Famous Test-Postgradute (NEET-PG) prescribed for August 3, IMA-JDN has appealed to the Union Ministry of Health to direct the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to reopen the portal for examination centers. This will give the affected candidates an opportunity to select the centers close to their home state or nearby areas.
In its representation, IMA-JDN underlined that while some students have been allocated centers in nearby cities, thousands of others have been handed place in far-flung states, they need to travel long, expensive and stressful at unfamiliar places.
The body of doctors states, “This step is causing a lot of concern, especially between economically weaker sections, women and people from remote or rural areas.”
“This inequality not only affects fairness, but can also negatively affect the mental welfare and performance of students in this important, once a year examination,” said this. The body of doctors said, “IMA -JDN is committed to ensuring equity and access to all aspects of medical education and examination systems.”
Meanwhile, on July 21, the National Board of Examination Board at Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the examination interaction slip for NEET PG 2025. The admit card for NEET PG 2025 is scheduled to be issued on 31 July.

Along with this, the Supreme Court of India has fixed August 3 to hear a batch of petitions related to transparency of NEET PG examination process. A bench, including Justice’s Vinod Chandran and NV Anjaria, summarized the case, focused on issues about the release and evaluation mechanism of the answer key, followed by the National Examination Board (NBE) after the evaluation mechanism.
One of the petitions filed through advocate Tanvi Dubey challenges the lack of transparency in the evaluation process and explore various directions to the NBE. The petition evaluated the release of question papers to the candidates along with the breakdown of correct and wrong responses along with the answer key.
