Neena Gupta says she loves styling and often wears her own clothes and takes photographs of them and keeps them in a folder for later use.
Neena Gupta is one of the best actresses working in Indian cinema today, having won many awards for her acting. The actress is also willing to experiment when it comes to fashion, as she often breaks stereotypes with her choices.
The actress has often made headlines for her bold and stylish outfit choices, ranging from flowy bodycon dresses to wearing shorts and crop tops effortlessly. While she has occasionally faced trolling for wearing such clothes at this age, her fans have consistently come to her defense, praising her for confidently embracing her style and refusing to conform to societal expectations. In a new conversation with Vogue India, the actor shared how she loves styling herself and often tries on her looks beforehand.
What did Neena share?
During the video, Nina talked about her different looks over the years and reflected on her career. She further added, “Let me tell you a secret. I sleep early so sometimes I wake up very early, sometimes at 5 am, 5.30 am or something like that. And what do I do? I go to my dressing room and style myself. I take pictures of myself and put them in the styling album. So whenever I have to go somewhere I look at it and think okay, this goes with it… because I have so many clothes that I forget. So, styling is my favorite pastime.”
Neena also recalled how ‘controversial’ her song ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ had become when it was released. The actor also said that Badhaai Ho changed his life and people started recognizing him as a very ‘good actor’ after that.
Neena was last seen in the film Metro in Dino. Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh also starred in this group drama. It is available to stream on Netflix. His Panchayat Season 4 was also released. This season saw the return of Jeetendra Kumar as Sachiv Ji along with Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha.
