NASA is going on three space missions next month. The US space agency is planning to launch three rockets 260 miles above Earth at the crucial moment when a total solar eclipse will occur on April 8, reports Weather.com.

What is ionosphere?
The ionosphere is one of several layers making up the Earth’s atmosphere that gradually and eventually transition into space. Weather conditions in the ionosphere affect satellite communications and the way GPS signals pass through it.
