My Hero Academia: Vigilantas premiered his first episode on Monday, 7 April, and fans eagerly waited for this spin-off. The series, produced by Kohei Hoicoshi, is written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and is illustrated by Beton Court. Published on Shonen Jump+, the series is to be adapted in anime by Bones film. Fans were eager to see how the series would handle the Shonen Manga.
The trailer for the anime established the high expectations of the show, diving into the dark side of becoming a hero and depicting a clear picture of the events occurring in the main chain. So, did the first episode live till publicity?

My Hero Academia: Vigilant’s episode 1 review
The first episode titled “I am here”, directed by Kenichi Suzuki, begins with a lot of world basics where 80% of the population is born with special abilities, known as Quirks. The audience is introduced to most of the major players of the series, including Koichi Himavari, Pop Step, and Nockladster -with their quirks, which include some names. From this episode, the trailer shows the question that vigilance is looking out.
Although it does not give us too much to chew, it makes some interesting bets for future episodes. There is enough secret and stress to keep you bent with some characters appearing in the episode of partial or without introduction. Honestly, the characters have not yet been completely excluded, but there are some good early points. To begin, the show’s hero Koichi Himavari is also known as The Nice Gai in the first episode, immediately liked.
He is not only about becoming a hero, but the child is also self-conscious in his age. While the 19-year-old man dreams of protecting the city from very bad villain, as he praises, Koichi has made peace with the society being small and good until he meets Nucklester. Like any other teenager, he has yet to identify the true power he holds and develops it in the largest weapon.
In addition, the audience is sure to enjoy the dynamic of Nuckledster and Koichi which is ready to develop even more in the upcoming episodes. Meanwhile, the pop step can be somewhat preferred, but did not have much impact in the first episode. The blind anime is clean, however, there were no moments in the first episode that would still leave fans in the fear of animation. The voice acting is solid because Koichi is given a voice by Shichiro Ummeda and the nulldster being given by Yasuhiro Mamia should be one of the finest decisions of Anime.
Pacing-wise, this episode takes its time to set things. Some could find it a bit slow, but it was clear that they were trying to install the world and bets before throwing the audience into action. This episode will keep the audience busy even if not too much and there are hopes that things increase slightly in the next episode.
The tone is still slightly unclear – it is many times dark and dramatic, but also has its comic moments and brief glows that indicate on deep, emotional subjects. The plot has the ability to become more intense as the story comes out. The story is straight, but it’s a little hurry to tell how deep it will go. The director established the basics without being trapped in a lot of exposure, which is appreciated.

My Hero Academia: The first episode of the “I am here” titled Vigilants lays the foundation for the series and is solid to the beginning but not yet no major explosives disclosure. It performs a good job that introduces the world and the main character, although still left to find a lot. This is worth watching for fans of Shonon Manga, but the audience should not expect a wild ride yet. While the first episode sets things well, but hopefully the next episode will increase speed and distribute more. For now, this is a promising beginning.
