The Meteorological Department of India has issued a warning of heavy rains for many southern and western states – including Karnataka and Kerala – welcomed the South -West monsoon. South -Western monsoon set in Kerala

Meanwhile, Bengaluru is likely to receive scattered rainfall over the next five days, said IMD said.
Heavy rain warning for Goa
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert, indicating very heavy rainfall until Sunday. Fishermen are advised not to enter the sea, as with a speed of 40–50 km per hour, at a speed of 60 kmph, is more expected along the Goa and Konkan coast.
