Shadiram has conducted many marriages in different states of the country including Mithila, Bengal, Odisha, Delhi.

Ghatakraj is very busy even on normal days. He has horoscopes of dozens of boys and girls available with him. He shows the bride and groom the marriage proposals as per their demand. During the wedding season, Ghatakraj attends several marriage processions in a day. He also keeps visiting cards with him so that he can stay in touch with people.

Shadi Ram’s real name is Naveen Jha. Recalling his childhood days, he says that he lived a very poor life. He lost his father at a very young age. In such a situation, the responsibility of providing for the family also fell on his shoulders. He says that if I worry about the society, then it is the duty of the society to take care of me too. In such a situation, the society fulfills my needs.
No consultant fee
Ghatakraj does not charge any consultant fee for the negotiation of the relationship or even after the marriage is completed. That is, the entire work is free. People voluntarily pay him and he accepts the same. He himself takes the responsibility of getting poor girls married. According to him, till now he has got 14 girls married with his own money. This process is still going on.
