First of all, let us tell you that as always, Maruti Suzuki Dezire was the best selling sedan car in the last month i.e. January 2024. Dezire has defeated all other sedan models including Verna, Amaze, City, Tigor.
Maruti Suzuki Dezire was purchased by 16,773 customers last month. Dezire sales have increased by 48 percent annually. In January 2023, 11,317 people bought Maruti Dezire. The ex-showroom price of Maruti Suzuki Dezire starts from Rs 6.57 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.39 lakh.
Hyundai Aura was the second best selling sedan of January 2024, which was purchased by 5,516 customers with an annual increase of 19 percent. After this, Honda Amaze stood at third place, which was bought by 2,972 people. The worst thing that happened with Amaze was that its sales declined by 47 percent annually.
Hyundai Verna was the fourth top selling sedan of last January, which was purchased by 2,172 people. Verna’s sales have increased by 118 percent annually. This was followed by Volkswagen Virtus, which was purchased by 1,879 customers with an annual increase of 36 percent.
Tata Tigor was the sixth best selling sedan car in January 2024, which was purchased by 1,539 people. Tigor sales have declined by 50 percent year-on-year. After this, Skoda Slavia was bought by 1,242 customers with an annual decline of 12 percent, Honda City was bought by 1,123 customers with an annual decline of 45 percent and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was bought by only 363 customers with an annual decline of 64%. The last position in the top 10 was Toyota Camry, which was bought by 312 people. Camry sales have increased by 429% last January.
