New Delhi. Tata Motors is taking full advantage of India’s rapidly growing passenger electric vehicle segment. According to the latest data, out of 100 electric cars sold in India, 70 are from Tata Motors, that is, the company has a 70 percent share in the electric car segment. Let us tell you that many companies are selling electric cars in India, but no other company has been able to achieve the kind of grip on the electric car market that Tata Motors has. As far as the country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is concerned, the company had announced to launch its first electric car in 2025.
Meanwhile, Tata Motors has unveiled another electric car. The company has recently released the teaser of Curvv EV, which makes it clear that this car can be launched very soon. It is being told that after launching the electric version, the company will also launch its petrol version in the market.
What will be special in Tata Curvv EV?
The Tata Curve EV will be an all-electric model with a coupe body style. Some of the design highlights of the Curve include a full-width light bar running across the face, split LED headlamps, aggressive-looking grille and bumper, sloping roofline, flush-fitting door handles and connected LED taillights. Also, the reflector design and positioning at the rear will be similar to the Nexon.

How will the features be?
In terms of features, the Curve EV can get connectivity features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car will also get a free-standing 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, all-digital instrument cluster, twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, touch-based HVAC controls, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree surround camera and ADAS technology.
Apart from this, if we look at the recent spy pictures, the Curvv EV will also have a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The battery pack and specifications could be similar to the Nexon EV. The car could get a single motor setup that will send power to the front wheels.
The Curve will be the first large SUV to join the race and will be joined by cars like the Hyundai Creta EV, Kia Carens EV, Honda Elevate EV, Mahindra XUV.e8, Maruti EVX and Toyota Urban Sport.
