New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki cars have become expensive. The company said on April 10 that it has increased the prices of select variants of Swift and Grand Vitara Sigma from today. The price of Swift has been increased by Rs 25,000 and the price of Grand Vitara Sigma variant has been increased by Rs 19,000. This is the second time this year that Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of its cars.
Earlier, citing rising inflation and commodity prices, the company had said that due to this the cost of vehicle manufacturing is becoming expensive. Due to this, in January, Maruti had announced a 0.45 percent increase in the prices of all models.

Prices increased twice in 4 months
Before increasing the prices of the cars in January, Maruti had said, “We have been bearing the increased input costs for some time, but the current market conditions have forced us to increase the prices of the vehicles slightly, hence some “The prices of the models will increase.”
According to the auto sales data for the month of March, Maruti has achieved a total sales figure of 187,196 units including both domestic and international markets. This figure is 14 percent more than March 2023.
Maruti Suzuki achieved its highest ever total sales in the financial year 2023-24. During this period the company sold 2,135,323 cars. This includes domestic sales of 1,793,644 units and export of a total of 283,067 vehicles.
