Maldives President Mohammad Muizu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and said that tourism in Maldives is ready to grow after the Indian PM’s visit. Describing the state’s visit as a producer, he said that the journey led to signing four memorandum (MoU) and three major agreements, and also marked the onset of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) dialogue between the two countries.

Maldives tourism to get a boost after PM Modi’s visit
He also honored India as “one of the major countries” in terms of its contribution to the tourism of Maldives. Muizu said that tourism will increase after PM Modi’s visit. “… people’s connections to our people will also be extended,” he said, as reported by HT.
“India is one of the major countries that help the Maldives tourism, with the Prime Minister’s visit, it is going to grow, and will also increase in relations with our people,” he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that attending Maldives’ Independence Day celebrations was an honor for him.
