Most people use four-digit PIN to unlock apps and gadgets. By stealing people’s passwords and PINs, cyber criminals break into people’s bank accounts and personal information every day. Despite repeated warnings from cyber experts, people still use weak PINs like “1234” or “0000”.
A recent cybersecurity study conducted by Information is Beautiful shows that many people use simple patterns in their security code. In this study, 3.4 million accounts were analyzed which were breached by cyber criminals. After this analysis, a list of those 10 pins of number 4 was made, which were broken by cyber criminals in a jiffy.

Information is Beautiful found that ‘1234’ is the PIN that is most easily cracked because it is so common. This PIN was used to protect about 11 percent of the accounts included in the research. Other most used PINs include ‘1111’, ‘0000’, ‘1212’ and ‘7777’.
