On Sunday, Aditya Birla Group President Kumar Mangalam Birla said that an hour is required to live with technological progress like cross-functioning education Artificial Intelligence (AI).

BITS Pilani Chancellor Birla visited the Engineering College campus after more than a decade to anchor his convocation for 2025 batch.

He said, “The focus of this campus will have to prepare Indian talent for leadership in the techniques of our time. It will be a specialist in the complex AI, data science, robotics, computational linguistics and cyber-physical systems prepared for the future.”
He said, “Graduates, postgraduate and doctoral programs are offered in view of global best practices, industry internships, joint PhDs with top international universities and hybrid twinning models have been offered that gives true international risk to students,” he said.
In addition to this new campus, Birla made two other important announcements, one of which belongs to the expansion of its premises – Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa – on the manufacture of “capacity on scale” called “Project Vistar”. Under this, under this, an investment of over 1,200 crore is dedicated to the construction of new academic blocks, state -of -the -art research facilities, student hostels and faculty residences, as well as a composite, with a wide range of features designed to cultivate the future ready learning environment.
Birla aims to expand students capacity from 16,000 to 21,000 in these three campuses over the next five years, it is estimated to increase from more than 18,700 to about 26,000 within the same period.
He will offer 32 programs including BITS Pilani Digital, an Edtech platform, which 11 degrees and 21 certificate courses over the next five years. The aim of the forum is to reach over 100,000 learners from high schoolrs, which increase college students to working professionals.
