Police said that before the National Medical Entrance Examination hanged himself from an iron grill of his room in Parshwanath area, an aspirist allegedly committed suicide.

Refusing to disclose the student’s name, Circle Inspector Arvind Bhardwaj at the Kunhadi police station told PTI that the girl was under 18 years of age and was from Shopur in Madhya Pradesh.

She had been living with her parents in Kota for the last several years and was preparing for NEET-UG at a coaching institute.

The NEET exam is being held today, 4 May. The NEET exam is for the National Eligibility cum entrance testing. It is a national level entrance examination to get admission in Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS), Ayurveda, Homeopathy and other paramedical courses in India.
