Jackie Shroff has talked about working with Dev Anand and how the late actor guided him when he was struggling with an action sequence. “One day, when I was on the film set, I was struggling to do an action sequence properly, and the action director scolded me a lot. At that time, Dev saab was on the set and he said to the director, ‘Don’t Do it, scold him, he is a new boy… he will learn… do it slowly, do it slowly. That day, I understood how, as a newcomer, I was treated by such a great actor and today, when I am in his place, I feel it is my responsibility to carry forward what I learned from him on the sets. Is.” Shroff remembered.
Jackie talked about the early days of his career
Further discussing her approach towards acting, Jackie mentioned her reliance on her experiences with some of the best in the industry. “I never went to school, nor did I have enough money to go. My real school has been Dev Saheb and Subhash ji (Subhash Ghai). On the sets, I am like water – whatever the environment or situation demands. Yes, I adapt to it. I have confidence in my technicians,” he said.

Jackie and Dev had worked together in Jackie’s first film Swami Dada. The 1982 action film was directed by Dev.
