New Delhi. Actor Bakhtiar Irani recently made a shocking revelation. He told that he had got a role in Sara Ali Khan’s film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’. He had even talked to the director. He had even lost weight to fit into the character. But in the end he was replaced by another actor.
In an interview to YouTube channel Inside the Mind, he said, ‘The director called me. This is a Karan Johar production. I did not know, I thought I was meeting director Kannan (Iyer). I met him, he told me that my fitness is good, but in the 1940s people were a little thin. I lost 8 kg in one and a half months and went back to him. He praised me and said let’s sign the contract next week. Everything was done.’
